Starting on June 8th, Cochise/Geronimo's acclaimed Sunday Cookout is back; Chef de Cuisine Andrés Rumis and his staff will make this the perfect Sunday venue. We invite you to enjoy our fabulous salad and live outdoor grilling buffet where we will feature a weekly changing fresh seafood and meat selections as well as great side dishes to accompany your meal, and to satisfy your sweetest cravings, don't forget our fantastic dessert buffet showcasing our classic fruit cobblers and ice cream.

With the breathtaking views of the Sonoran Desert Sunsets and the sounds of Walt Pitts, you are sure to have a great time at Cochise/Geronimo Club House.

In addition to our Cookout Buffet, a casual "a la carte" menu will be offered. Sundays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Breakfast With A Fantastic View At Cochise/Geronimo

With the closing of the Renegade Hideout this summer, Cochise/Geronimo Clubhouse will be offering a full breakfast menu seven days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Sundays from 7:00 a.m. until noon). Now through Sunday, July 6th, enjoy a nice hot breakfast with a fantastic view, what a wonderful way to start the day off.

On Sunday, June 15, 2008, Cochise Geronimo dining Room invites you and your family to a very special Fathers Day Breakfast. The buffet will feature traditional Breakfast items such as Scrambled Eggs, Eggs Benedict, and Pancakes, as well as cooked-to-order omelets, seasonal fruits and berries, smoked salmon and a variety of fresh breakfast pastries, just to name a few.

With the gorgeous views of the Sonoran Desert, and a menu to tempt the entire family, Father's Day at Cochise/Geronimo promises to be the best in town!

So make this a Father's Day a day to remember and gather your loved ones to enjoy the time together in this beautiful setting. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 a.m. until noon.

Due to the huge popularity of our wine dinners this season and in appreciation of our members who are here all summer, Desert Mountain is thrilled to welcome back member favorite Castello Banfi for a very special summer wine dinner. One of the biggest and most revered Brunello producers in Tuscany, Banfi has also set the bar for world class Chianti and Super Tuscans. On Friday September 12th the Cochise-Geronimo Clubhouse hosts Banfi Wine Educator Bill Whiting, grandson of John Mariani, the original founder of Banfi Vintners. Bringing a line-up of wines to impress the most discerning wine aficionados, Mr. Whiting will also share the fascinating stories that have shaped Banfi's history. Andrés Rumis - Chef de Cuisine
Bobbie Jo Thompson - Restaurant Manager

Bobbie Jo first came to Desert Mountain in 1998 from Saginaw, Michigan. She has over 20 years of food and beverage experience. She has held several food service positions at Desert Mountain. Bobbie Jo has worked at the Garland Resort in Lewiston, Michigan as the Food and Beverage Manager, a 4 Star Diamond Resort. She is excited to be part of the Desert Mountain team.

Chef Andrés Rumis started cooking when he was a little boy for family and friends; his love for cooking is what lead him to a lifetime career as a Chef. He began his professional culinary career in 1994 when he attended college in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1998, Chef Andrés was awarded third place in the National Young Chef Contest, one of the most sought after Contests in the country. In 2000, Chef Andrés came to the United States and started working at The Ritz Carlton Phoenix. He quickly moved up to Jr. Sous Chef and in 2002 he! was promoted as the Sous Chef. Chef Andrés had the opportunity to travel around the globe to learn different cultures and cuisine from Thailand, Israel, Egypt, Spain to the Caribbean and Coastal Mexico, which all have influenced him in the creation of his particular culinary style. We are pleased to welcome Chef Andrés Rumis to our culinary team.
